Terry Pierce, Mgr of Operations, overseeing Recruiting, HR, and Training - BKD LLP
Terry has over 15 years of public accounting, recruiting, training and human resource experience. He has held served as a local, regional, and national recruiter for various public accounting firms. He began his career as an auditor with a Big 6 firm, specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry, which took him on client projects throughout South America, Indonesia, and the Far East.
In his current role as Operations Director with BKD LLP’s new Dallas, Texas office, he is responsible for the direction, coordination and overall management of the office policies & procedures. Additionally, Terry identifies, plans and implements the objectives set by the Managing Partner to ensure the office’s overall effectiveness.
Terry also oversees the Human Resource function in the office (including) coordinating employee orientations, transfers, point-person for all personnel issues; leading the campus and experienced recruiting process; working with national learning and development team to design and implement local office training; leads the coaching / mentoring program activities.
Terry graduated from the honors program at Langston University in Oklahoma, where he studied both accounting and English. Terry is a member of several professional organizations including the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA), and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has served on various college advisory boards, including the University of North Texas, Texas Tech University, Baylor University, and Loyola University in New Orleans. He is a frequent speaker on issues related to resume writing, interview preparation, and making the transition from college to corporate America among others. He is an active member of his church and coaches his two children’s sports teams including football, basketball and soccer.

Carolyn Cummmings-Altmus, National Director of Diversity and Executive Recruiting - Boy Scouts of America
Carolyn Altemus has worked for the Boy Scouts of America in numerous areas from program planning to marketing and now as National Director of Diversity and Executive Recruiting. She has helped Scouting to become a recognized brand as an employer achieving awards such as Hispanic Networks Magazines’ Best of the Best Companies for Diversity & Top Corporations Hiring Minorities; 2005 Workforce Diversity Achievement Award (from Equal Opportunity Publications, Inc.); 2006 Top 50 Entry Level Employers; 2007 Sustained Branding Award from National Associations of Colleges and Employers; 2007 Community Leadership Award Recipient from Thurgood Marshall College Fund; and many others.

Jim Schnyder, Manager of Talent Acquisition- Pepsico/Frito Lay
Jim Schnyder is Talent Acquisition Manager for PepsiCo and a frequent speaker on recruiting industry best practices and strategies. Jim has over nineteen years of recruiting experience and for the past seven years, he has been in Talent Acquisition with PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division leading the Marketing and Sales recruiting. He has worked on both the agency and corporate side of the staffing business for such companies as Management Recruiters and Perot Systems. In 2007, Jim was awarded the Dallas Fort-Worth Texas Recruiters’ Network “Corporate Recruiter of the Year”. Jim is an AIRS Certified Diversity Recruiter (C.D.R.) and has been described as an extremely well rounded recruiter and a Subject Matter Expert on Applicant Tracking Systems. Jim is the past President of the Frito-Lay Employees’ Association, past Frito-Lay Diversity Manager and currently serves on the Board of the Frito-Lay EnAble chapter. He is also a recipient of the Frito-Lay “Inspire Well Being Award” and the “Eagle Award” for HR Excellence. Jim is the Chairman of the Corporate Advisory Board for The Consortium of Graduate Studies in Management which is the country’s preeminent organization for promoting diversity and inclusion in American business. He is also a Board member of the Dallas Fort-Worth -Texas Recruiters’ Network.
Jim is a native of St. Louis and a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia. He and his wife Yadira live in Frisco with their children Jake and Isabella.

Kevin Kulesza, Vice President, National Staffing Program Manager -- Comerica
With almost 15 years of HR staffing experience, Kevin currently leads a team that is responsible for campus and expansion recruiting efforts for Comerica Bank nationwide. Also at his charge is the rigid task of ensuring compliance and process standards are adhered to across all their markets.
Under Kevin's leadership, the team has successfully filled over 1300 positions within the last year notwithstanding the financial industry's economic challenges, a tight recruiting budget and limited staff.
Prior to Comerica Bank, Kevin was a Staffing Manager for Motorola in Illinois where he led the university recruiting efforts within the U.S. while maintaining global responsibility for university strategy implementation.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and has numerous AIRS certifications.

Ellen Pickle, Divisional Vice President of Recruiting -- JCPenney
Ellen oversees the recruiting function for JCPenney; including Store Management, Logistics, Campus and Corporate Recruiting. She also leads the Diversity Recruiting efforts for the company. Prior to joining JCPenney in 2006, Ellen held recruiting leadership roles at FedEx Kinko’s and ACS. She also spent over 8 years in the direct search industry.
